The Rev. Dr. Jerry Maddox Woodbery, Jr. (Matt) is the son of the late Rev. Jerry M. Woodbery of Bainbridge, Georgia, and Martha Wells of Statesboro, Georgia. Matt Woodbery graduated from Kubasaki High School, Okinawa, Japan; Oxford College of Emory University; Emory College; and Candler School of Theology, Emory University. He earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from Wesley Theological Seminary, Washington, DC. He is a member in full connection and an ordained elder of the South Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church since 1987.
After graduation from seminary in 1985, Matt served as Associate Minister at First United Methodist Church, Americus, Georgia. In 1988, he received a U.S. Army commission as an Army chaplain. Chaplain (Colonel) Woodbery (Retired) served on active duty in numerous assignments until his retirement in 2017 after nearly 30 years of service.
Dr. Woodbery is married to the former Carol English of Cochran, Georgia. Their daughter Callahan lives in Nashville, Tennessee.

Jeff grew up in Montrose, Georgia and graduated from West Laurens High School in Dublin. He attended college at Armstrong State University in Savannah where he earned a Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy. He met his wife Sandra and began to feel the call into ministry as part of the Wesley Foundation Campus Ministry in Savannah. After working as a physical therapist for a few years, he answered the call to pursue ordained ministry. Jeff graduated from the Candler School of Theology in 2010, was ordained as an elder in 2012, and has served as the pastor of Montrose, Tennille and Christ (Albany) United Methodist Churches before moving to Mulberry in 2017 as Associate Pastor. Jeff and Sandra have two daughters, Kinley and Audrey.

Tom grew up in Warner Robins and has received three degrees from the University of Georgia. He served for 30 years as Director of Music and Organist at First Presbyterian Church, Athens, Georgia. He came to Mulberry following six years at First Presbyterian Church, Ann Arbor, Michigan. His wife Doris is a native of Americus, has a master’s and doctoral degrees in music education from UGA, and is a retired elementary school music teacher.

Trevor was born and raised in the middle Georgia area. He began developing an interest in music during middle school, and started participating in the music ministry at local churches and ministries. He later went on to graduate from Georgia College & State University with a degree in Communication Studies. After college Trevor moved to Athens, GA where he served at The UGA Wesley Foundation. There he met his wife Katy and later moved back to Macon. He originally came to Mulberry to serve as a Worship Leader for the Newroom Service. Eventually he took on the role as Youth Pastor, and has since begun the process of ordination through the South Georgia Conference to become an Ordained Elder. He attends Asbury Theological Seminary online seeking a Masters of Divinity. His passions include: Jesus, playing music, travel, spending time with friends and family, snowboarding, and investing in the next generation.

Sarah grew up in Macon and graduated from Mercer University in 2018 with a degree in Graphic Design and Journalism. She joined the Mulberry family first as a bass player in the New Room Worship service and has come on board to focus on Mulberry's digital media and outreach.

Betsy grew up in Hancock County GA. After moving around for her husband to finish his college degrees, the couple settled in Jones County for thirty odd years. They now live at Lake Sinclair with their third son, Lewis. They are also the proud parents of Jay and Chris. Betsy has been on staff at Mulberry since 2007.
