Come hear 30 minute organ performances every day M-F of Cherry Blossom. Sponsored by the Macon Chapter of the American Guild of Organists & Mulberry Street UMC. Monday's performer is Daniel McIntosh. Daniel McIntosh, currently organist at Mulberry St. UMC has played professionally in church settings since he was twelve. In his previous position in the summer, Daniel held a role as organist/choirmaster for St. Joseph Chapel at Lake Delaware Boys Camp in New York where music legend Charles Dodsley Walker held post. Presently, Daniel is a graduate student in organ performance at Mercer University under the tutelage of Dr. Jack Mitchener. In 2023, Daniel earned his Bachelor of Music in Church Music (Organ) from Baylor University, Waco, TX where he studied under Dr. Isabelle Demers, Dr. Margaret Harper, Dr. Jens Korndörfer and Dr. Randall Bradley. A multi-talented musician and world traveler, Daniel has played organ, piano, saxophone, and drums for different styled worship services around the world in Guam, Texas, Florida, California, New York, South Korea, Japan, Cambodia, Malaysia and Indonesia. This past March, Daniel toured France playing organs in Cathedrals across Paris and at the palace of Versailles. When he is not practicing, his hobbies include driving a stick-shift Miata with his friend Harold on the Georgia country roads.
