The Mustard Seed class includes married and single men and women. We typically have book studies or short studies of a specific topic. In the past we have studied: Is God a Christian, Night, Three Months with the Spirit, Same Kind of Different as Me, The Case for Christ, and Heaven. We have also looked at Lent, John Wesley versus John Calvin, Methodism, and prayer.

The Mustard Seed class is discussion based and led by about ten class members on a weekly teacher rotation. Guest teachers from Mulberry as well as the community are also a part of the class calendar each year. Members of the Mustard Seed class enjoy an annual Christmas party as well as providing assistance to families in need during the Christmas season. We enjoy having new faces visit and would love for anyone looking for a Sunday School class to join us each week. For more information, contact Paige and Art Banks

THE JOY CLASS

60'S  & up

2ND FLOOR OF MULBERRY, ABOVE THE ATRIUM

       ENTRANCE

In 1944, Mulberry organized a Young Adult class to accommodate many of the young soldiers, defense workers and college students crowding Macon in those World War 2 days. Our class has moved from your adults to young married couples and is now an older adult class with a close knit feeling. We are the oldest continuously operating Sunday School class at Mulberry UMC. Our name, JOY, states our beliefs: Jesus, Others, You.

We use the International Lesson Series of the Adults Bible Study and each Sunday our lesson is taught by a team of dedicated teachers (Roberta Johstono, Bob Bailey, Linda Sankey, Steve Rumford, Mickey Pope, & Beth Tripp) who are not only excellent Bible students but very inspirational. The Joy Class is lead by a committee of four members: Russ Barber, Carolyn Kennedy Dominy, Carol King Pope, & Mickey Pope. For more information, you can contact any one of them.
