Looking Towards Fall!
Fall Festival and Chili Cook-off
Sunday, Oct. 26
Come enjoy a hayride, sno-cones, inflatables, carnival games, trick-or-treating, face painting, balloons and more.
Wear a costume and maybe you’ll win a prize! Bring a pot of your best chili or special pie recipe and take it to the kitchen by 5:00 pm.
We will have chefs ready to judge them! Then we’ll all gather together at 6:30 pm to eat and enjoy each other’s company and give out awards.
Mulberry has a full season of activities planned for the rest of the year, including an intergenerational mission trip, plenty of Wednesday night supper programs, and many events leading to Advent and Christmas. There is something for all ages! Please see this flyer for the full schedule.
Ever wish Sunday morning had a more community feel to it? Interested in something different during the Sunday School hour?
You are invited to be part of an intergenerational group at Mulberry on Sundays from October 19 until November 23. We’ll meet in the Fellowship Hall from 10:00 to 10:30 to read and discuss the day’s sermon scripture text while enjoying doughnuts and Guatemalan coffee. Following our discussion will be a time for fellowship across generations.
This is open to all ages – children, youth, coll ege students, grad students, young adults, parents, grandparents, and beyond. If you are not currently in a Sunday School class, or if you are in a class but want to meet new people across generations, or if you are new to Mulberry and want a way to know others better, you are invited to come. Each week stands alone, so you can come to as many or as few as you wish.
